Rolex MSRP Increases

Given the huge bubble I thought it would be interesting to track recent Rolex MSRP increases.

Did a search and found a US price list for 2008. I recently bought an Explorer (yes this one is 39 and the 2008 model was 36 mm) and a 116234 DJ36 w fluted on jubilee. The former had an average annual price increase of 2.63% but of course the watch also grew 3 mm in those 11 years. The DJ 36 had an average annual MSRP increase of 2.1% which includes the increase in 2019 to 8200.

I will leave it to others to find their own watches and give us the 11 year annual MSRP increase. But that is pretty close to the US inflation average over those 10 years which has been around 1 and a half %.
