2016 Athenaeum Cabernet Sauvignon
SILVER MEDAL Winner 2016, CA STATE FAIR –

Aromas and flavors of wile blackberry, cherry and dark chocolate. The finish is long and seamless accented by rich tannins.

Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna South Australian Shiraz 2004.
This is a very powerful and long -lived Shiraz from a premium maker.
I decanted it and let it breathe for 4 hours and it was still opening up.
This would go 20 years without problems and I will let the last two bottles go the course.
Huge depth of flavour and character, like all of the quality Penfolds bins.
