Just returned from Paris....

Was in France for the world cup and went to 6 different AD's in Paris. Not a single SUB, DS, Explorer or GMT to be found! Very rare they all said.

As I flew out of CDG, stopped in the duty free rolex store. None of the above on display. Asked the sales person if they had any SUB's or DS's hiding. She said yes on the DSSD (holding it for a customer that never came to pick it up). I asked to buy it and they sold it to me!

126660 for $9788 Euros! #winning!

Congrats on the pick up! I was just there, too, saw USA beat Sweden in Le Havre. I went to the store off the Champs Elysees, and they just giggled when I asked about any GMTiis. I did get a Basel '19 magazine, though.

Blue skies!

That's awesome! Congratulations! Still kicking myself for not buying a Hulk 3 years ago for 7700 euros at the CDG shop.

Congrats, and yes airports and (boat) ports are GREAT places to pick up some nice timepieces.

Dang! Nice! We couldn't get tickets to the Spain game, unfortunately, that would have been a blast. Watched the France game from home... Going to the watch party on Chicago for the England game.
