Cyclops Scratch/Line

So, it seems that I've already managed to scratch the cyclops of my 94" Sub...

The Line is black and is quite distracting.

When Looking straight down the line is visable over the date.

I can't feel it with my finger nail though, any ideas what I should do?!

Are you positive it's not something under the crystal?

That's something I've not thought of, quite worried if it is something under the crystal as I only bought it last week!

Uggh, so sorry this happened.

Is it possible to get the 40mm crystal from the no-date Sub?

Personally I’d love swap out the cyclops crystal on my gmt.

The cyclops is so UTTERLY STUPID from an usability perspective- I literally have to be view the date at 90 degrees to the face to see the date.

I'll tell you why I ask; I had something that looked very similar under the crystal of my 116710LN. It showed up after about a month or so, so it must of been floating around in there somewhere until it settled right under the cyclops. I hand carried it to RSC and they agreed it was underneath and they'd take care of it. A week later, I had my watch back, good as new. Whatever it was, it never should've been there, but they took good care of me.

I did EXACTLY the same thing to my Explorer. I went to RSC, they took in the back and 2 minutes later and I perfect watch again. They can clean or polish it out something. The magic elves are amazing.

Hopefully they could repair it. That would drive me crazy.

If that is on the cyclops you should be able to feel it with your fingernail.

If you can, why not give it a polish with some fine diamond paste?

Ditto.

It looks very manageable.

Thanks everybody for the answers.

I think I'll have to contact and then send it to my local RSC and see what they can do.

I can't feel it with my fingernail, so it must be under the crystal.

Listen to the members who are telling to try to say polish it out first ! Then send it out/ more likely a scratch than something under the bubble.

Cannot understand why try some polish first,if that dont work leave it till next service time if needed then the crystal will be replaced then.
