FWIW, I think the DD36 you have might be the nicest piece in your collection, save for maybe the AP.

How would acquiring a stainless steel Rolex affect your rotation with the IWC and Panerai?

I agree with your initial feelings. If it's sitting collecting dust move it for something fresh and modern in SS that you'll wear and enjoy. Any 36mm in YG is a meh for me.
