Hello All,
I am looking to buy my first AP Royal Oak Offshore model 26176FO I found an example that is in great condition from a reputable seller... except that the crystal is scratched. All examples that are in perfect condition are from sellers with shady history, and other reputable sellers have watches with good crystals, but scratched bezels. I've looked around and it looks like a ceramic bezel replacement is anywhere in the neighborhood from $2000-2500. Therefore the watches with flaws in the bezels aren't worth it to me. Thus I'm curious if I purchase a watch with a scratched crystal, and opt to have it replaced in the future, at the watch's next service, how much would a new crystal including mounting cost? How much would a new crystal and installation cost if the watch wasn't in for service, and just went in for the sapphire crystal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Thanks for the link, I’ve actually read through that before as that’s one of the first places I looked. There’s no info on replacement part costs, but are you implying that the crystal might be included in the regular service?

Crystal replacement is included with service cost along with new crown and pushers (except RG and Pt models).

Thank you, this is very helpful info. I also messaged AP North America Client care and they quoted $1,500 for service and a minimum of $2,244 for a ceramic bezel replacement. Hope this helps anyone else looking for this info.
