Tonight’s anniversary dinner was over the top. It started with garlic and shallot white wine mussels served with a J Christopher Sauvignon Blanc, then we moved on to buffalo tenderloins with a red wine and port wine reduction sauce and grilled asparagus paired with a 2002 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon. #lifeisgood

Not the usual suspects, but we are camping near the WY/NE border tonight at a winery. Bought this to drink tonight but had some 2014 BV Latour and Pepper Bridge cab to go with the steaks tonight.

Taking the new Tiffin RV on some shakedown trips close to home before we head to MT and AL in August and October.

Picked up 8 of these 2015 & 2016 on the "end-of-line" table at my local liquor store.
A$14. ea. What a win. Lovely rich vibrant red with a ton of varietal flavour and quite a bit of depth. What the 'Coonawarra' is all about. Will live longer but I am going to drink them over the next 12 months as they won't get better than this.

Ozzie reds are one of the best New World wines you can drink everyday.
Fan of Penfolds and Taylor's among others too.

Hi Jesse! All good over here - so far - you may have heard about the fiasco with the bikies-molls who criminally mislead the authorities about their illegal entry to QLD from Victoria - infecting quite a few people. Hopefully they will get what's coming to them.
Hope all is well across the ditch.

'Oyster Bay' is always a reliable drink. Never had a bad NZ wine in my life and I have consumed a few in my day.
