Yellow gold is too flashy for my taste and dangerous to wear during these times.

OP I 100% know the TT vs Steel feeling. Back before the ceramics the TT Subs were really popular. A lot of people owned the TT Blue Sub. It was a really awesome watch at the time. It felt solid and really nice on the wrist, the gold adds some weight. I remember being offered a black sub for $3,650 no box or papers. I couldn’t let myself buy it knowing I could get a TT Blue Sub for about $5,500. For 2k more it was a no brainer lol. That’s when a Pepsi GMT was around $8k. I miss those days . Times have really changed, new models coming, old models discontinued and 2x their MSRP.

A lot of hype I 100% agree. Buy what you love, don’t mind the YouTube and all the people here

Its good you finally seen the light. I've still got a crapload of SS and in all honestly none of them have been worn in ages now. They are just not that special to me. I wear gold every single day.
There is only one advantage to SS and that is price; with all the speculation the margin between it and PM is greatly reduced. No sense in buying a watch worth 50% of what is being asked for it. The worth being the MSRP and not the insane asking price.

Not sure what chavy means, but in my 40s I still am not confortable with TT/YG. Too showy!

Key to class is understated. That Calani suit has no lable. I guess thats why I'm stuck with no Rolex, just a B&M and Omega.

I am an average guy and I dont feel comfortable wearing a full YG piece, I dont think my personality can pull it off. They are beautiful pieces but personally I feel more comfortable with SS or TT SS/ RG which I have the TT RG Yatch Master.

I like all of them (SS, TT and PM). It's better to have more variety.
