Rolex in 2020
Anyone think that placing an order at an AD for a new 36mm OP (silver dial) should be a terribly long wait? AD calls it a "Special Order" where they order through Rolex's web portal. Not sure what happens from there... if Rolex re-allocates and ships it... or if a new watch has to be made at that point. It's paid in full. Pandemic affects this, I'm sure, but has anyone else done this in 2020?
Thanks! |

I just got one from my AD last Friday.
We had discussed the availability on these, he said it was no problem getting these. Don’t know about other areas though. I’m in Augusta, Ga Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Welcome to TRF. Place the order pre-paid is your fastest way - as long as they promise to return funds for non-delivery.

Every store has different policies. Call a few more ADs, I'm sure someone will want to take your money, especially for a model that may have quick availability.
