FSOT: Rolex Submariner - 5513 - Gilt Gloss - 1966 - 1.46M Serial

For sale is this Rolex Submariner, model 5513. This is a 1.46M serial, dating to 1966. This watch has been very recently serviced fully by Phillip Ridley, and comes with nearly two full years of warranty from that service. The receipt for the service, and for the accompanying pressure test are included with this sale.

I've done the best that I can to accurately represent this watch in pictures. Please reach out if you are in need of additional photos or information. In addition, I am glad to provide a video call to show more detail.

The dial is wholly original, including the beautiful patina hour markers. The hands have been color-matched (with 60's tritium) by Phillip Ridley as part of the recent service.

The halo lighting of my light box sometimes makes it look as though there is a chapter ring on this dial. There is no chapter ring on this dial. Everything on this watch is as it should be (color-matched hands noted above the exception). Hat tip to Phillip Ridley, as well, as some of these pictures are from him while the watch was in his hands.

The watch runs to standard and, as noted above, was pressure tested only a few weeks ago.

The watch comes on a Rolex C&I Stretch bracelet ("7-70"). 1.46M serial number. Caseback is stamped III.66.

Price is $23,500 by wire and includes insured (ParcelPro) overnight (FedEx) shipping anywhere in the CONUS. International shipping on a case by case basis, and with forum references; all international customers are responsible for their country's duties/tariffs/fees/taxes, etc. PayPal with references only and at an additional 3.5% to cover fees.

I will entertain trades up or down but they must be modern Rolex and they must be good; I think this watch is worthy of that.

Authenticity guaranteed. I provide a 96 hour inspection period during which I will refund fully (less shipping) if the watch isn't as pictured and described. Understanding that watchmakers aren't always at your call, though, I can be flexible in allowing additional inspection if arranged properly, for established members.
