I couldn’t find the prices (here in US) on AP’s website. Unless I am short of sight, did not see an MSRP listed on the Jumbo, for example. https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.1240ST.01/

I did see the $1,700 USD price for the RO cufflinks!

On the US website apparently the prices have disappeared. Or at least moved somewhere where I don’t see them.

For those in HK and curious, new prices I got talking to my SA are:

26331st: HK$226k
15500st: HK$171k

Kind of steep when combined with the last price increase.....

Wow. I bought a 15450 just about a year ago for $16k and change from my AD and now it’s $21,700. Nuts.

Looks like a decent kick up across the board except on the openwork.

Hopefully this manages demand and means you can actually buy stuff in store!

I hope so too, but let's be really honest. These increases will do nothing to temper demand for the Royal Oaks. There is such a massive difference between retail and "market price" that 6% is not going to change anything.

Again I go back to my house of cards analogy. This has built up in such an untenable way there is no "solution" that makes sense. Increase supply, and the demand and market price crashes and away goes the allure and FOMO.

If that happens, before you know it we will be right back to the way things were 5 years ago and while that may sound appealing to watch aficionado, it spells disaster for everybody else. Pandora's box has been opened.

The Material Good website has two different prices listed for the two color variants for the 26315st (38mm chrono) - the panda is listed at $29.6k and the grey is listed at $28.1k, which I think was the previous price. Maybe MG forgot to update the grey dial variant? Seems odd that dial color would have different prices.

they will never increase supply because they're doing their best to control this hype now. it initially started as a bubble and i think these brands quickly realized that if they take it upon themselves to keep it up there's more money to be made

Perfectly said. Mirrors a similar convo going on elsewhere in the forum as well. None of this is by accident.

AP is smart and greedy to make more money when they can. The scarcity is not gonna change, Grey dealer will up their price also.

Agree, these brands spend so much on market research, they are much more clued in then we are on how much they can charge v how much they can supply. I can’t see them jeopardising where they got themselves to now.

And it’s nothing new, just look at the Daytona and Birkin bags which have been playing this game for decades.

Jesuscristo! So much punditry and whining. Particularly pointed towards the guys here with multiple AP’s. Stop buying so damn many and the prices will calm down. :) ok I’m done.

yup, hermes has been doing this forever. i'm surprised all the people here are so oblivious to the process considering that's the rolex equivalent for females lol

Thanks for the heads up on Material Good's website update...

Looks like an average of +5% across the board for US pricing. Add in the average of +8% that hit the US in November 2020, and we're around ~13-15% which is in line with what I'm seeing for some non-US markets.

This is a 5% increase to what I paid for the blue panda last month

That is a problem isn’t it. You have to get an updated appraisal and my A.D.’s won’t do it for sure. They will only appraise it for what retail is.
