I own both. Black gets 90% of the wrist time. White is gorgeous as well though!
I just think the black is a lot more versatile and has a very clean, chic look. White more casual. |

With a steel bezel i like both, with a ceramic bezel it would have to be black only for me.

I am generally a black dial guy but for the Daytona, the white dial pops more than black. Especially against my tanned skin tone.

After trying the white on, decided it wasn’t for me. I first got the 116519 WG silver dial which to me is a much nicer dial than the stark white. I followed this up with the black SS and now have my perfect Daytona duo.

My AD allowed me to take a look at both before choosing one for my waitlist. Both were already promised to customers. Though I initially thought I wanted the white dial, the black dial just looked better to me in person. Made my decision based of of that and should be receiving mine this year.

I’ve never met a SS Daytona I didn’t like ��. I have and prefer 116520 in white and long for a 116500 in black or a PM WG on OF. My $.02

At first I bought the one with the black dial and then I bought the white one too because in the meantime I liked that too.
