Opinions on this 1675
I've made an offer on this watch http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280319862354 , and the seller has accepted. However, I just noticed the bracelet. Neither the bracelet nor the end pieces have numbers. Seller claims the bracelet is original. Can't be, right? Also the bracelet itself looks a little odd to me. Seller seems OK. Any opinions greatly appreciated!

bracelet looks a little odd to be mut i am by no means an expert. i was always under the impression the hollow end links on a rolex fit very snug, but this is an older watch.

I don't know much about these, but the riveted bracelet would have been correct for that era... Can't comment about the endlinks as I just don't really know.

That is a riveted bracelet, which is what originally came on this watch. I am going the guess that the dial and definitaley the hands have been replaced during a service somewhere along the line.
Edit Just Read this Dial = 100% original Rolex signed black matte dial is clean, original tritium marker has aged nicely restored to an even yellowish patina, all writing is clean and visable, signed "SWISS - T<25" at the bottom I would keep searching. ~Scott

...bvand is 100% GENUINE...

Band looks good as Stan said. If there is anything I remember from Stan's wisdom .... USA riveted bracelets have no markings on endpieces. ![]() ![]() |
