Oh really? NICE! I'm a sucker for gray/silver dials in general and I would pair this with my DJ41 which is in Rhodium dial.. hence the hard time making a decision haha.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback and I agree, always go with what speaks to you. I have a gray dial Rhodium DJ which Is why I'm struggling with my decision haha!

yep. The market has gone nuts since covid. I was doing some reading the other day and it was saying that U.S. household wealth has for the last 4 quarters has increased around 1 standard deviation above the mean, which equates to around a 25% annualised gain. So it is no surprise to see luxury items rallying and the second hand car market on fire! (This is despite the U.S. only being a relatively small part of the global watch market).

Official vacheron overseas thread!!

Tried this one on yesterday in Dubai. Incredibly comfortable with super thin case including a most ingenious automatic movement, which does hide the rest of the movement!

Soon after getting back to the Ritz, the VC SA sent me the below images via WhatsApp.

I also chose silver over blue and black. That was with the dual time.

I always wanted a silver dial so I didn’t consider the others. Having said that, I just ordered the blue dial chrono.

I suggest if you preferred the silver dial, don’t be swayed by your friends.

Great watch. Wears is a little big though. Meaning even bigger than the already big three hands

Any recommendations on where to get the 4500v blue

Hi all

I had a chance to get the 4500v blue at a VC dealer a few months back. Passed on it. Is there still a chance at any AD? New York AD can no longer get one for me. Any recommendations?

Hong kong you have no chance its a 3 year + waiting list. I'd do the rounds and call up VC boutiques worldwide, explain your situation and maybe one of them can source one for you.

The blue dial is really stunning but I also really admire how well the vertical brushing is on mine. Nice contrasty striations.

It's crazy how it's the exact same watch, but at a different lighting and angle, it doesn't look the same at all. Beautiful watch, and a huge congrats!

So I had a chat with the guys in the boutique about rubber bands.

Available colors for 5500v are: Black, Blue, Brown and since a few months White. They quoted about 6 month waiting time for a White rubber.

Anyone who has a picture of Black Chrono Overseas on white leather or rubber so I can get a feel if white is match and worth to order?

Grey was apparently only a gen2 rubber, not available to order.

I actually have a Gen 2, didn't know grey was available, it would look good with my anthracite grey dial. Thanks for the heads up.

Here you go on white leather! The white is slightly off bc subdials are silver, but still looks cool!
