A spokesperson for the Rotterdam St. Fransiscus Hospital issued the following statement regarding the case of one of their patients, Mr. H. (Dutch legislation prohibits the further use of said patient’s full name).

Professor Doctor Derksen, the eminent Dutch Dermatologist, had discovered the cause of Mr. H’s disease. It seems to be purely psychological and although it was touch-and-go, the patient is now stable. Before becoming comatose, the patient was heard uttering the following strange comment: “I only followed JJ’s advice” and this enhanced the opinion it is psychological.

Prof. Derksen has come up with a cure, but it is a highly experimental and still untested procedure. And the patient is condemned to undergo this treatment for the rest of his natural life. He has to wear a Rolex Submariner Date or a Rolex Sea-Dweller on either wrist, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Mr. H’s fellow forum members already have started to collect funds for the benefit of his treatment and are confident they can present the hospital with a Rolex “very soon”. One of them explained very moved: “he sacrificed himself to save the rest of us, this is the least we can do”. More to follow.

The second word is off sorry Frans, as your present condition was unconditionally caused by excessive viewing of the illicit PO. We feel as fellow
forum members, that the main instigator in posting these illicit PO pictures
namely the member JJ Irani. Should bare all costs toward, and any compensation cost or cure seek-ed, for your terrible exposure to this PO syndrome.

No worries....provided OMEGA compensate me for all the free publicity I've been giving them in return.

You see, I knew something terrible like this would happen if we continued to allow the posting of those awful orange pumkin pictures. I kept trying to warn everyone but would anyone listen? No. Well, here we have the results of this foul deed.

I don't think Dr. Derksen's cure could possibly work. The only potential hope of a cure is to remove every offending picture of the orange pumpkin from TRF, now and forever more. Even that might not work, but it is worth a try.

I would doubt now if that would work, but worth a try Ed,we have been exposed to these PO pictures for too long.Could possibly be a form of PO
brainwashing perhaps the member who posted these pictures, is a Omega special, hairless on top agent.

For all things holy JJ, how long are you intending on milking and stretching this PO thing? If I do a forum search on 'PO' or 'Orange', I get a 'devide overflow error', meaning the system can't take it anymore. And neither can I. But you may send me details on the movement, pictures of the goodies that came with the watch and a detailed description/review of the PO via PRIVATE e-mail PRIVATE, you hear?

Take care buddy,

Frans.

OK I admit it!!

JJ and Denis,
Although your arguments are persuasive, I love this watch of my own accord. When I first saw it posted by JJ I really liked it. It has gone so far that I actually looked at one at the dealer in Vail on our last trip. Schade for me, I can only justify one "luxury" watch at a time. As I am truly in love with my SS Sub, I won't be snatching the PO up any time soon.
As for the nay-sayers out there... It is like the HUMMER. Its gawdily large and utilitarian looking, a smaller vehicle will do much the same job, noone in their right mind actually NEEDS one. But, in the end, its just plain old cool.

Down with the sickness.

No, not by me. I've developed (according to my physician) a stress induced blind spot in my vision. After being over-exposed to large, orange objects, I can’t see them anymore. Pfffff, what a relief! To his utter astonishment, I refused treatment….

Frans, how do you get that disease? Is it contagious? Can you send me something that you've touched? Can I get it, please?
