126710BLRO Jubilee to Oyster confirmed for UK

Congratulations looks great nothing like having options well done ;)
There’s been a lot of confusion here in the US over what is The standard procedure or what if any options were available through AD or Rolex directly. There has been a few of us myself included with success stories but for the most part most members inquiring are all told something different. I’ve seen a few posts here in the last few weeks about members here in the US finally getting approved.

And for me the opposite. I bought a Pepsi on Oyster a while ago, and more than a month ago ordered a Jubilee bracelet for it. The cost is approximately $ 1,850. According to my AD it should come in the next two weeks. I will be able to exchange the bracelets myself, because both of them stay with me.

The trigger for this now happening is it is apparently 1 year since availability of BLRO on oyster.
It is at this 1 year point that these types of changes are allowed.
Hence if you asked a few weeks back it was not doable.

Awesome! I love the idea of being able to switch bracelets for two different looks. Anyone have luck in the US?

My AD still tells me them ordering a bracelet is not happening at all because Rolex does not allow this and each bracelet serial is tied to each watch. Wonder why there is difference between ADs.

This is good news. As of last Monday my AD indicated it was still not available. I will check back and update.

Yeah, my AD said no as well on this as well. I'm wondering if direct to RSC is the way to go.

My AD last year said the same thing. Half a year passed and he suddenly changed his position, allowing me to order a second bracelet.

Do you have to buy the alternate bracelet as well aa keeping your current one with datejust models too? Then of course just sell it privately.

Wasn’t sure if you could just swap it at the AD and pay X balance.

I’m tempted to swap my oyster for a jubilee.

Glad to hear and congratulations! I'm going to email my local RSC and see if it's available in my area as well!

This from RSC London:

Good morning,

Thank you for your email.

Currently we do not have stock of this bracelet within the UK, we can place an order for Geneva to supply one; Geneva orders are taking approximately 12 weeks to be shipped.

The cost is £1700.00, inclusive of VAT and we would need the watch in order to fit the bracelet on to it. Your existing bracelet would be given back to you.

Would you like an order to be placed for you?

Kind regards,

Thank you ninjin.

Wow, that sounds totally different from the reply I got. More expensive too! I can't see them selling that many bracelets in a few days, I was lead to believe they had 'plenty'....

Maybe worth giving them a call to RSC London and you may get through to another advisor.

I inquired RSC Kuala Lumpur yesterday after reading this post, and this is the response:

"Good evening!

The order request for an Oyster bracelet remains unavailable, and waiting updates from Geneva."

Wow there really is no consistency here. That email from RSC London just adding a couple of £100 more to the price just makes it a little less attractive overall.

Bracelet prices have increased substantially in the last couple years.

For example: the 69200 bracelet was $2000cdn last year, then end of year was close to $2300cdn, and now is $2600 all plus tax.

That’s completely rubbish from your AD. The 126710 is available on both Oyster and Jubilee.

This is for the Jubilee bracelet. Sorry if I failed to clarify this.

What surprised me is the cost. I thought the Jubilee would be more. My AD was quoting me £2,100 before they spiked it.

They've contacted me this morning to confirm that Geneva have taken the order.

I don't know if it is possible to fully clarify it, but here goes...

For the UK, according to my AD.

When I got my BLRO Oyster in October 2012 my AD said that a spare Jubilee could be bought when stock allowed. The anticipated time frame was Q1 2022.

In March 2022 my AD informed me that Rolex would be taking orders shortly and the cost of a spare Jubilee bracelet would be £2,100.

In May 2022 I asked my AD to order me a Jubilee or let me know when this would be possible. They enquired and informed me that the spare bracelet option was no longer happening. I could swap the bracelet, I could not have one of each. My AD was a bit baffled by this because they believed otherwise. Either Rolex had reversed it, or they had failed to properly communicate it originally.

Having just got the OK for owing each bracelet for my BLRO and a Jubilee on order, I wouldn't be surprised if Rolex refused my AD because of the stock situation. I will discuss it with them when I next visit, but having got my spare Jubilee ordered through the London RSC, I will follow though with London for this swap. I don't go to London much any more. It'll make a change to drive in and spend a few hours in the St. James Square area.

That makes sense now! I was quoted £1750 for a Sub bracelet last year.... You would think PCLs need more work. I can only guess the glide lock cost a lot to make hence the Sub oyster costs more than the PCL Oyster.

Great news on the Jubilee. Sometimes it's just better to go and deal with the top. St James's area doesn't have much going on. Take the short walk to Chinatown and enjoy some Dimsum!

I called RSC here in the USA (Beverly Hills) and they told me that the bracelet would only be available if the current bracelet was traded-in.
