Would You Make This Trade???

Would you trade a 116520, SS, White Dial "Y" serial (circa 2003) Daytona for a 18239, White Gold, Silver Dial, 6 million serial (circa 1979-1980) DayDate President straight up?? My Daytona was recently serviced at the BH RSC (just before they closed) and the President is in 95% condition.

No, after seeing how hard to is for some to sell a 36mm DD these days....this is one watch that is really taking it in the shorts IMO.

Not a chance. I would even expect some cash in that transaction...

NO, the Daytona is a keeper, icon and in the future would be an easy sell.
The Day/Date Prez is not an easy sell, and 36mm is not a popular size. More people are into the larger watches. Just my opinion.

If it's the NEW White gold Presidential I'd do it. But since it's the old one...hell no!

Presidents, used, retail for $7000 -$8000, you can find cheaper, but not by much in good condition.
I almost never see a Daytona in SS under $9000.

I would not trade. You could sell your SS Daytona and buy a used gold President of your choice and make a profit.

Nope, That Day Date is only worth about $6500-$7000, on a good day.
