Anyone get bored of your Submariner 1x6610 LN (date/nodate) yet?

Sub original serie LN is the most sold Rolex ever

Any of you get bored of it yet after long-term owning? Or you still find it is Interesting ?

Surely the DateJust is the most sold Rolex ever.

I still love my 5513 and 16610, if that's any help to your Rolex-buying decision-making.

First the DJ is Rolex biggest seller world wide ever and has been for decades and cannot understand anyone buying any Rolex watch if they thought they would get bored with it.

I may be in the minority, but I sold my Sub Date after about 2 years and bought a ND. I like the simplicity better and it's my daily.

Yes and traded the 124060 up for the 126610LV, very happy. I can always get one again if I want to add someday.

As mentioned above, the DJ is far and away the best seller for Rolex.

I had the ND Sub (114060) but did replace it when I got the 126610LV call … not because I was “bored” with the LN, but because the LV made my Rolex air-sea-land collection more special in my eyes. My Daytona is all black, so the splash of green on the Sub made it unique and more interesting.

But if I could only have one watch, it would be a LN Sub (yes the ND, but still a Sub LN).

I love Submariner dates. No matter how many times I try, I get tired of a black version. Throw some color on it and it’s a different story for me.

I’m always drawn towards a Submariner and find myself looking at them. It’s just so clean, pure and simple. It just tells the time and does it so well.

It's only boring if you expect it to do something.

For all of you who said DJ sell the most, yes the DJ LINE SELL THE MOST, But they have many different Models/reference. And I don't mention the whole sub mariner line vs Datejust line

In fact, I'm focusing on particular model, which I strongly believe the Sub date BLACK LN (16610,116610,126610) is the most sold Model ROLEX EVER !

Can you tell me any Datejust model that sell better than Sub Date LN ? I bet you cannot :)

No. For the same reason a rib-eye cooked in simple salt and pepper will never be boring. Yea, it’s simple in its preparation and presentation, but quite complex in its flavor profile and versatility.

You've lost me with this line of reasoning. If you think there are more Subs sold than DateJusts, you are very very wrong.

I Would say 1x6610 LN date sold much more than ANY Particular Datejust model you can name.

Datejust line sale more than Sub line only because Datejust have SO MUCH MORE DIFFERENT MODEL than SUB.

I do get bored of my 116610LN here and there. I just put it away for a few months and then when I go to put it on again, bam it feels brand new again. Might not be the most interesting reference out there but definitely one of the more dependable ones.

Having 2 LN references (116710LN, 116500LN), a 116 or 126 LN would be redundant and therefore to me, boring. I much prefer a sub LV over a sub LN.
