FNG Las Vegas
About three months ago I looked at my left wrist and the budget watch occupying it, and decided I needed to upgrade my life. I just turned 39 this past December, and for Christmas I asked for a new watch.
My wife surprised me with a Citizen Promaster Fugu diver; black PVD coating with the full lume dial, NY0155-58X. It looks great with my flight suit (USAF) and has performed wonderfully as a daily wear. Of course, that was my entry into Automatic movements and dive watches. I've jumped in head first, researching brands, heritage, and watching reviews, gathering opinions and experiences from as many sources as possible. I introduced a close friend of mine to Cigars last year, and as I have become interested in Watches he has been a huge help. He also referred me to TRF, and that is why I am here! I thought the Cigar World was expansive...Timepieces are a level up! And it is awesome. Currently I am looking at two Omega watches to add to the budding collection: the Seamaster 300 and Speedmaster Racing. A Rolex is a down the road purchase for me, however, what better way to learn about them and get advice than from a Forum dedicated to them. There is a time and place for everything. One step at a time. Happy to be here, thanks for reading! |

Welcome to TRF, William! There are lots of friendly folks here, and lots of great info. There are also subforums for many brands other than Rolex, including Omega. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome; as an aviator, check out the GMT Master. The history of the model is incredible, and it was originally made for pilots. A pre-ceramic “Pepsi” model (red and blue bezel) looks damn good worn with OD green, JS…
