I’d keep the Daytona but it’s not as clear-cut as others are saying. Definitely requires some thought process.

Why not trade your OF Daytona for the YM?

You keep the full PM Daytona and you still have an Oysterflex in your collection.

Mr. GL that's the best looking one I've seen. Congrats! I do think it depends on the characteristics of the individual stone dial.

Gorgeous dial. And YM42 wears like a dream for me. Somehow flatter and better than sub or GMT on my wrist.

@dhj1977 @EEpro

Thank you for kind words ) .

You are absolutely right on YM42 comfort. It's unlike others 42mm.

3. The Falcon is arguably more rare.

4. Full gold bracelet has more presence (hefty), however is not a daily beater as the oyster flex.

5. Falcon is a larger watch.

Thanks for any input / insights!
In this scenario, I think I would trade the OF Daytona for the Falcon's Eye if I wanted it that bad. Seems to me you keep the best of both worlds this way.

Although, TBH, what I would really do is keep both Daytona's and just go find a good deal on the plain old WG YM42...there are many to be had nowadays.

The OF Daytona I have is the meteorite. . .I think that's part of the permanent collection, lol!. . . But having this special dial got me thinking, why not collect all the special dials.

I'd make the trade, but I think the FE dial is badass. Not sold on Daytonas.

This is through grey market. . .I have a feeling that only the larger AD's will get allocation, my suspicion is that my AD will see one every three years, which by that time will be discontinued.

Personally I'm not a fan of falcon's eye dials.....but then I'm not a huge fan of meteorite dials either.... or sunburst dials for that matter! Yep, gimme a nice boring gloss or matt black/blue/white dial please!

I would never trade a Daytona for a yacht master whatever the references.

Nope. Keep the WG Blue Daytona.

I agree with others, the YM Falcon's Eye via photos still looks off. I guess I'd have to really love it in person to do that trade.

You have the oysterflex with the Daytona so, personally, I’d prefer the full bracelet version over a second oysterflex piece…. The blue dial Daytona is dreamy too

My $.02 is to hold what you’ve got.

I'd keep the WG Daytona with blue dial, and possibly swap the OF Daytona towards the YM Falcon.

Oh, well that definitely change things.

I'm not sure what I would do in this situation, TBH. Good luck,

I wouldn’t do that trade. You have one of the most desirable Daytona’s on the market.
