Another huge fail on the SNKRS app for the Lost and Found restock.

I don't think Nike will ever defeat these bots.

they definitely don't want to because they don't lose money from bots so there's no incentive to dump huge amounts of resources into stopping them but besides that i legitimately don't think it's possible, just like in video games where you'll always have people cheating despite constant updates to anti cheat clients. it's just the nature of the game and nike is always at a disadvantage here because something will always be out there to exploit and i'm sure they're well aware of it

Sneakerheads

Just finding some of these great non Rolex threads here!!!

I have downsized my collection to just a few meaningful pairs. I didn’t have a huge collection before but I’m around half of that now.

I don’t really buy much anymore because I hate the reselling and bot crap. Totally ruined my love for it. But if I REALLY want something I usually go to flight club a few days before release. I pay only 20-40 over MSRP and usually have them a day or two early

What I currently own:

AJKO sport blue/blk
AJKO Chicago
- I really like these canvas 1’s!
Jordan 4 Fire red/wht/blk

Jordan 7 Cardinal recent release and 2005 release. -I love these because they were the first gift my now wife (of 17 years) then girlfriend got me and she was so excited she picked them out herself randomly at the mall one day.

Jordan 7 DMP Raptor (had the set but sold the Orlandos)

Jordan 12 “royalty”

And lastly, the Fila ‘96 GH2 because I was head over heels for that shoe when it came out. I liked it WAY better than the Jordan 11 and still do (go ahead and judge me lol). I also met Grant Hill that year and live in a suburb area just north of Detroit so….

I have other runners, chucks, etc but the above are my collectibles. Sold Jordan 5 fire red, blk metallic, reverse laney, and grapes. I also sold Carmine 1’s and blk/cement 3’s.

A family that J's together, stays together...

I knew I was in trouble when the wife was like "hey, I want a pair of Jordans too". Already have my son going with the Denim Blue 3's and the L&F's. Once I saw these in pink, I knew they were the ones for my wife's birthday. But I also had to have them!

Luckily, I hit on her pair and my pair through SNKRS; her's came in today and she and I are both very happy with how these look in person. The leather is excellent for a standard pair as well. It might be too pink for some but it's perfect for her and just enough pink for me. Will get a couples shot once mine arrive.

Excellent pickup - I almost wore mine to the Windup Watch Fair in SF yesterday, but wore the Travis Scott's instead.

I'll match your AP and J's here with my AP/J's combo.

What happened, if you dont mind?
FWIW, I still buy more from StockX than GOAT, although I like that GOAT offers pre-authenticated shoes on some models. My only "bad" experiences with StockX have been where I have bought the shoes and the seller never ships them to StockX, so my money is tied up for a few days, but I do get refunded.

I have also had a few experiences with StockX where the shoes did not pass their authentication process. I was bummed, but it was reassuring to know that StockX has safeguards in place.

Its kinda two fold but overall just a horrible customer service experience that is still dragging on. They could easily right the ship but for some reason are taking the opposite position.

I sent deadstock shoes in I sold, they didnt pass verification "there were two dead spiders"(from sitting in closet years lol) on the heal and they called it healscuff. I dont agree but no harm no foul.

They sent them back, this is where the problems started. The shipper left them outside in the POURING rain and they got ruined.

I spoke to stockX and they upto this point are not will to refund, open a case with fed-ex, or draft a letter that allows me to open a case with fedex(since they are the shipper).

They did offer me 1 thing, 50% of the value of the ruined shoes lol.

I understand the fault should not be on stockx or myself it should land squarley on fed-ex, seems simple right. I dont think stockx insures there packages properly and that is why they are refusing to open a case. Just my intuition.

I now have a ruined pair of shoes I sent to them brand new(+2 spiders), no compensations and no shipper claim. They do not excel in CS, so be it.

Yeah ordered last week or so . They’re cool. I’m trying to decide if I’m going to keep them though. I’m over 40 so there’s the “will they look silly on me?” Aspect to them due to the blue and yellow circles. That said I usually dress pretty conservatively so shoes and watches are where I try to show out. If you want some closeups let me know.

I hear all of that lol. I’m in the same boat at 40 myself. That’s what was holding me back from getting them as well. That and I already have some Chicago 1’s…

Post some on feets if you decide to keep them!

I'm 40 this year...look at us old-timers, haha.

Just like watches, I submit to the "wear what you like" mantra. I've got the washed pink AJ1's to match my wife's pair; I don't care if others laugh, it make us happy.
