Incoming SBGW231

I’ve admired this watch from afar for quite some time now and couldn’t resist when I saw this one come up for sale.

It’s stunning in the metal and the finishing on the dial more than holds it own against a VC Patrimony imo.

Super thrilled to have this and it’s quite a different style from what I am used to. I think a grey suede strap will work well with this and make it lean casual but I’m more than happy to rock it with shorts and t shirt as it is.

It will grow on you. Sourced mine from Japan. A keeper for sure. Zaratzu finishing, nicely cut bevels, and lug holes. Accurate manual movement.

Thanks all for your comments and yes I think you can! My photos are terrible and do not reflect what the eye can see but the way the dial,hands,indices and case shimmer in the light is wonderful. It really is stunning and the beauty is in the simplicity, every element is perfect and there is nothing I do not like about this watch - perhaps it’s too perfect and lacks personality? I guess time will tell. It has a vintage feel but is somehow still modern. Looking forward to getting some new straps and should be a breeze to change with the lug holes, although I’ll still use tape as don’t want to mess that zaratsu polishing up!
