HI, new to Rolex watches this year. Wondering what the best resource is for models and serial numbers/dates? Just curious if there is an all inclusive book or if the internet has a database (like every other collectable these days)? Just curious what is the best available.

Bob's Watches is a blog and reseller with many locations. They post a lot of great articles about the various reference numbers/generations, history, etc. of many rolex models. Also, this forum is a fantastic place as well!

the first book on rolex I would buy is James Dowlings his serial number page is the most copied list on the internet. most sites have stolen his numbers and research which were all based on physical watches he has handles and not just guess work.

Mondani can be ex-endive but they are incredible books the depth they offer is unreal, I have two and they are superb ..
Look on eBay or Amazon used, you can’t go wrong with Mondani …
