IMO Black Bay Pro looks better. I have it and the case height is not a problem either. All my other watches are 10-12mm thick and I have never the case height a second thought.

I’d buy a good condition Explorer II 16570 over the Tudor all day everyday. Here’s my 20 year old 16570 I just serviced at RSC. Keeps COSC time and very reliable. Very comfortable and under the radar. Noticeably thinner than a 16710 and my 14060M. Perfect for traveling.

I had a very similar debate. The bbpro thickness did not bother me at all after trying it on at AD and I liked that it was modern tech with warranty but kept thinking every time I would look at it I may think I should have got the explorer II. The clasp on the 16570 annoyed me and it was so nice on the bbpro. Ended up getting a 216570 instead and still sometimes I look at it and think I should have got the bbpro and saved the difference

16570 all the way. Had one, sold it, regretted selling it, so bought another!
