U.K. - Surrey trusted jewellers / person for regulation?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a person or jewellers in Surrey U.K. for Rolex regulation?

Allow me to explain. I have a 116610LN which was last serviced by RSC a couple of years ago. Before it was sent away the AD asked if I was left or right handed. A question which I’ve never been asked before in the 3/4 services I’ve had previously. I’m not sure if it was coincidence or not. But that watch runs on the wrist as a -0/+0 and is brilliant. I assumed it’s because they regulated it for left hander?

I’ve recently acquired a 14060M. It was serviced 2 years ago by RSC and runs within COSC standards. However it runs +4 a day on my wrist. Which previously would have never annoyed me. However with my other Sub running Bob on it’s hard not to let it bother me.

So the fact it doesn’t need a service, would anyone know anywhere I can take to get it regulated more personally for me?

Not Surrey but Steven Hale Watch Restoration have a good reputation. Rolex accredited. The workshop is Bushey, Watford or showroom in Mayfair

Personally I wouldn’t bother at +4 per day. Have you tried leaving it Crown up or crown down overnight? Works for me on a couple of watches if they run a little too quick

Why anyone would want any watch regulated because it runs +4 seconds a day defeats me as there are 86400 seconds in a day.And if they regulate to say +1 second on a machine this don't always mean it will perform exactly the same on the wrist.

Maybe some people really want to be on time.
