Urgent question re VC overseas 49150 blue dial Chronograph hand color

Hi,

I just newly bought a preloved 2nd gen VC chronograph blue dial 49150.

I notice that the chronograph hand (the longest one above the calendar) is white in color, while I saw the internet pictures are silvery. I wonder if that hand was replaced. Does any one has experience on this watch to share?

I would need to quickly go back to the watch shop I purchase if there is anything is wrong with the watch.

Your help on this is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

No idea, but did a browser search and see both and there appears to be a pattern… versions on rubber have the white second center hand, while the bracelet version has a silver seconds hand.

Are you sure it's white and not polished metal?

Thanks for your comment. I also did the same thing browsing and had the same thoughts. Turns out those examples online are all lighting issue and the hands are all silver

Yes I am sure it is white. And I also notice the shape of my middle hand ( the shorter end of it) is trapazoidal but the ones on internet is rectangular.

So I am pretty sure they are different, I am just not sure if there is certain edition of the watch may have different hand.

I have the same watch. Blue with a bracelet. My chronograph hand is polished silver metal and not white. Also, the end is rectangular in shape on mine.

There are variations of second hand colours on Chrono24. Most are silver metal, but some of the black dial variants have white hand eg https://chrono24.app/vacheronconstan...GB&SETCURR=GBP

Or this grey dial with black hand: https://chrono24.app/vacheronconstan...GB&SETCURR=GBP

Even some red-handed variants.

This looks like a blue dial with white hand? https://chrono24.app/vacheronconstan...GB&SETCURR=GBP

And this https://chrono24.app/vacheronconstan...GB&SETCURR=GBP
