What does it mean if I can't register my rolex? Does it mean it's fake or that is was just bought from a grey market dealer?

Rolex doesn't have a "Registration" process, so, as said, until we have more information we can't really answer your question.....

One way to get your name associated with a particular Rolex is to send it in with a Service Estimate Request......... You would then be in the data-base, andhave the estimate that will tell you what parts are authentic or not and what needs to be done......
