Mic dropping piece. Wipes the floor with any other gold watch. One could argue it's too bold, but where do you put the limit? A full gold watch on a bracelet will always be a statement, might as well go for the full monty, if wrist size allows. Congrats!!

Why do watches need nicknames? It is just pathetic, puerile and childish.

I really like that watch (and I'm not proud to admit that - by any objective measure it's a ridiculous thing).

Though I can't help wondering if an 18kt Deepsea has ever gone any further down than the deep end of a hotel swimming pool.

Like 320 grams. So only a little more than a Platona but still about 3/4 of a pound.

Congrats and great choice.
I have the gold deep sea also, and love it.

Looks excellent on your wrist…….wear it and enjoy it.

The pool at Aria in Vegas would be EXACTLY where I’d wear that beast if I could get one LOL.

Most Deepseas (my JC included) haven’t ever been in more than maybe 10ft of water. That’s not the point (for me at least). The point is owning an engineering marvel that looks amazing.

The 18k gold piece has serious “F you” energy and I dig it. YMMV

No need to get bent out of shape, I happen to agree with you. I was taking a facetious shot at the watch and nicknames in general.
