Rolex ladies datejust with Presidential band

Hi, I am looking at a 1987 ladies datejust. It has the gold presidential band.

However, my concerns are that the history card indicates that it has aftermarket dial (it is black),aftermarket diamond bezel and aftermarket crystal.

I can understand the aftermarket crystal, but what about the dial and bezel?

Would this be considered a “true” Rolex? Especially if I had to get it serviced by Rolex - or even by an authorized dealer?

Would these aftermarket parts lower the value?

I’m definitely not Rolex knowledgeable, but it’s a beautiful watch and in good condition.

No, it would be considered a Franken! Whenever aftermarket parts are added to a genuine Rolex, it loses its authenticity and a lot of value. I would not buy such a watch.

Thank you..this is what we thought but weren’t 100% sure. We opted to not purchase it.

But my husband had to have a new crystal put on his submariner. We took it to our local authorized dealer and they sent it in. The crystal is aftermarket as we were told that Rolex doesn’t manufacture the crystals so any replacement will be considered aftermarket. Is that correct?

The more we look, the more questions we have.

Your husbands Submariner does not have an aftermarket crystal if done via authorized dealer .

And yes, don’t buy a watch with aftermarket dial or bezel
