Do you recognize this watch. What model is it?

I'm considering bidding on this watch in an online auction but would like to know what model it is and the approximate value.

Art deco timepiece popularity may be up from years past.
But imo this one doesn’t pass the smell test.
Might as well burn your money…

No, aside from the Texano ref. 5100, Rolexes never say Quartz unless it's part of the word Oysterquartz

Aside from the Ref. 5100/8 mentioned above and which had a date window, Rolex introduced quartz timebase technology with its Oysterquartz Datejust and Day Date models from 1977 until the early 2000s when production ceased. I feel confident in saying the watch pictured is a fake, not made by Rolex. Save your money.

It is a Canal Street Special - AKA... NYC Chinatown Special.

Just a cheap quartz piece of junk with Rolex written on the dial, as JP notes
