The Cowboys have similar consistency to the Packers. The Pack had two HoF QB's from 1992 to 2023 and only managed to pull out two Lombardi trophies. The Cowboys won three in that time.

And if I were to travel to the US to watch a home game, Vegas and Miami definately are more attractive than Green Bay.

Fulham isn't the best team and regardless of the fact they get relegated every so often, she still follows them and has their shirts. Bills mafia will have you. There is a Facebook group with 300k members from all around the world. We are the definition of struggle having gone to 4 consecutive Super Bowls in the early 90s and lost them all. Our QB Josh Allen is the reigning mvp and regardless of what you think of him he puts on a show every game. We should be in contention the next 5-10 years but nobody is ever expecting us to pull it off given our past fortunes.

Backup picks for me would be Steelers because of the similarly strong fan base or the commanders if you want a blank slate and a team with a rookie QB that just put forth the most impressive rookie season any QB has possibly ever.

Edit: has to be said…absolutely no to the Dallas cowboys. It’s a trap.

Are the Bills the equivalent of the Chicago Cubs of a few years ago? Lovable losers? What would happen if the Bills actually won the SB?

I sort of disagree about the Steelers. It just seems like they’re in a rut. They win 10 or 11 games and then lose in the first round every year. They’re always good enough to make the playoffs but never good enough to overcome top tier teams. It’s been that way for the last 15 or 16 years. And I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

But I’d never put them in the basement with the Browns, Raiders, or Dolphins. That’s for sure.

Also, I don’t think the Dolphins get enough criticism. They’re every bit as bad as the Browns. McDaniel has added a little spark to that organization, but they still can’t be taken seriously in terms of being a legitimate contender.

Chargers would be a good one to jump in on. They’ve never won anything but have some good pieces that may be turn into a fun ride.
They were my team before leaving for LA. A Bridge too far for me.

I would suggest my current Jags team but I don’t want to put you through that.

Aside from a million people flooding to Delaware ave for a parade hammered. Nobody knows. It’s not even something bills fans plan for.

It all comes down to QBs as we know so Miami is at a disadvantage having a perpetually concussed tua. The Steelers missed on Pickett and then tried to make it work with other teams scraps.

I don’t have a personal connection to any place, but will watch the teams mentioned and see what feelings come from it. I need to see a lot more but am enjoying looking for footage of teams, getting a sense of who some of the players are (like Josh Allen, wow, what a talented and tough guy), as well as some of the older teams from documentaries.

As long as you are doing some basic research, I would recommend watching past seasons of the HBO series Hard Knocks. It streams on Max here (not sure about your locale). The show humanizes the the NFL experience and half the teams have been featured at one time or another.

Regarding the eagles you’re absolutely right. Both lines were outstanding. Jalen Hurts is no scrub either. He’s better than what most teams have at QB. He’s at least proved that much. I questioned him at times but going 1/2 in superbowls at his age and a convincing SB MVP is proof.

True statement.

At some point teams will figure out that too much cap is going to one position. Once that happens DB's and pass rushers will get paid and mediocre QB's will be the new norm in the championship game.

The time is coming. Maybe not soon, but llkely before the Bills win a Superbowl

Hurts is a top 10, elite QB for sure.

Nobody was tougher on him than me. But he’s proved me wrong time and time again. At one time, I thought you could plug in any QB on the Eagles and they’d win. But that’s just not true.

Mahomes looked shell shocked in that game. He had nothing against that defense. Some of his sideline hopelessness expressions were memorable. The Eagles should put those pictures on T-shirts, they'd be gold.

I don't put Hurts in the top three at the moment, which is elite for me (top 10% of starters). But he is very good. He has shown improvement in each season. He clearly is taking as much from losses as wins. I think he could be elite in coming years. We haven't seen his ceiling.
