Monochrome predictions for Rolex 2025

Some nice ideas this year from Monochrome (click here for the article).

Platinum GMT for 70 years

Coke GMT for 70 years

Titanium Sea-Dweller (with great insert)

1908 with on-trend stone dial

A 37 mm “unisex” Submariner (including one with RG)

They also repeated a prior prediction: white Explorer (personally, I would love this one in titanium)

Full YG Explorer

CHNR with jubilee

Yes please to a 37mm Sub, that’d be awesome.

These are great ideas...what would people think of a Datejust at about 38 or 39mm? I've found 36mm too small, and 41mm a slightly better compromise, but still a bit bulky on my 6.7 inch wrist. I also think 39mm would be perfect for a sub - like the Tudor Pelagos. The only thing that put me off the Pelagos was the overly long clasp

that full gold explorer is impossible, explorer will always be a rolex entry model.

The TT version at over 13k begs to differ.

Platinum GMT would look amazing with the ice blue dial. With a dark blue bezel that would look awesome.

Some cool ideas.
Ditch the PCLs on the 37mm Sub and not a fan of those 1908s.
A lot of the others would draw a lot of interest.
If they really want to give a gut punch to most collectors, the Coke will only be available in platinum.

I saw this and always enjoy this time of year when we get into predictions and speculation. The SS Coke is the one for me. Hope it happens.

I thought of a Pt Coke, too, but Monochrome’s idea of the “platinum blue” half bezel insert is a pretty good way to pair the platinum with the blue (which would not be possible with a Coke).

Monochrome’s prediction is that the Coke would only be in white gold.

Saw the Monochrome article this morning, my 10p's worth.....

GMT Blueberry - Okay but way out of my budget as I wasn't the lucky ticket holder from last nights euromillions.

GMT Coke - Awesome but same problem as above

1908 - I really like these mock-ups, very fresh and vibrant

Sub 37 - Good, TT version - No, its looks like an Omega Seamaster Diver in their proprietary rose gold

Sea Dweller - No it looks too bland, the Titanium and Grey just don't work, I like the idea of Titanium but needs a different colour bezel and dial.

SS Explorer with white dial and the full Gold variant look cool.

And the option of the Jubilee for the CHNR makes perfect sense.

Overall monochrome did a pretty good job.

Now, what is Rolex going to drop to make way from the above?

If they do end up doing w platinum GMT on a Jubilee it will make it first time they made a platinum Jubilee, right? As for my optinion on the releases: Platinum GMT - unlikely, if they do end up making the Blueberry it'll most likely be WG. Don't see them making a Coke. SD - unlikely. 1908 - could be. 37mm Sub - also possible. Polar Exlorer would be amazing and highly likely IMO. YG Explorer... actually lowkey like it, but unlikely. CHNR on Jubilee: I think all GMTs that are currently Oyster only will get a Jubilee option (RG and TT CHNR, WG) and all ones that are Jubilee only will get an Oyster option (YG and TT GRNR).

Agree but would want no center polished links. A true sized down of current would be amazing - esp if also in ND version. I hope for that every year

Your “mini sub” name suggests you have been hoping for this a bit longer then me so you get the 1st one

I’m thinking the CHNR TT jubilee is a lock.

Those GMTs and the Coke…..yes please!

+1

It would be awesome if the jubilee became an option for the CHNR. So awesome, but alas my guess would be that with the GRNR on jubliee, the CHNR remains oyster only. I’d love to be proven wrong though!
