And new prices are active in the US

My 126610LV that I got at an AD on April 23 was $10,900 and now is $11,200.

I saw the Black Sub went up to $10,650 or an increase of $250.

Still much cheaper than the Middle East and UK, and easier to get too. Lucky you.

Not really - your price includes VAT. We still have to pay 8-10% on top of MSRP.

Just 2022, I paid I think $28.8k for Daytona 116518. That watch now is $37.4k! Crazy.

$12,320 after 10% tax in US. Arabian Gulf States around $12,760 min or +5%. Not sure about Kuwait because they still don't have tax, but you will never get a good model Rolex there even with good spend.

Think they are referring to the temporary 10% tariff the American government have imposed on Swiss / European imports.

It could have been 31%. Let’s hope they have productive negotiations because ultimately tariffs are not paid for by the companies or exporters, but the people.

A mild increase. I'm happy. With tariffs talk, I was afraid it would be much worse.

Does not matter to me. A lot of noise and I will still buy what I want and can afford.

I added two earlier this year. It looks like the new Rolex market here is still red hot so buy what you want when you can as this price increase is really insignificant.

Price /w tax in my local for a two tone DJ 36 increased by $749. No longer worth it for me, and that's ok.

It's just the start. They aren't going to raise 10% overnight and say "Tariffs, you are welcome!". But if tariffs stay we will see more regular and frequent price increases over the next few years.

If someone was willing to pay $10,000 for a Rolex model, would an extra $300 make them change their mind?
I don't think so.

I don’t know what the watch is worth now, but it’s still probably closer to 26k than 44k.

And with this, I am priced out of my grail from AD. Gonna look at secondary market before that goes up, as well.

Agreed - it's a one time purchase where you're already shutting down the logical portions of your brain.

I got a 36mm for about 24K same timeframe. Discounts everywhere. Now they are well over 40K. I am beginning to think the prices on the DDs will lead to a drop in demand which will be met by reduced supply.
