Went to a practice session for an airshow that starts today and my friend took these pictures. Many more to come. These two pictures were taken on the same pass.

F/A-18 Hornet

100' AGL

Temp 28C

Dewpoint 21C

Density Altitude 2,200

Humidity 80%

Speed Mach .98

On the next pass he boomed the crowd. Love the practice sessions as things are a lot more laz and only 100 or so people.

Oh to be young again. The A-10 drivers were all cut from the same cloth. They were 5'8", full of confidence, lean, walked with a swagger, good drivers, battle tested in Iraq and a few other places.

Fantastic shots indeed Joe. Wish mine would have been so good. We have our CAF show here this WE and it was...as usual fantastic. We got 3 passes from the B-1B which is pretty unusual here. FIFI is gounded for Maintenance....I'll post some of my crummy pics later. Very nice shots once again.
