Salmon dial for men

Hello, I have a chance to purchase a Datejust with a salmon diamond dial (all genuine Rolex). What opinions do you guys have on this dial for a man? Any input would be great! Thanks

I never really care what others think, so no color is off limits for me.

But I have to agree with the above statement. If you need validation, then it's not for you.

Not a fan.

It's either black or white. I have no white yet, but will whenever I get a Daytona or Expy II!

Most who? I've never heard that one! I love the look; especially on a DJ or DD.

Had my salmon/pink SS DJ for 11yrs and it still looks stunning!

If it floats your boat get it, it has held its value really well and I wa soffered more for it this week than I originally paid for it!

If you like it, go for it.
There`s nothing wrong with ANY dial color, as long as you like it, `cos you`re gonna wear it!
And I think that salmon looks good on Rolex.

I'm getting my wife a mid-sized DJ with this dial for her birthday, but I see no reason a man can't wear this color. Hell, I have a salmon Tommy Bahama shirt that I love. If you are secure in your manhood, wear what you like. Who cares what others think?

Icon14 Go for it!

I have SEIKO JDM with a salmon dial and I like it. Other people have complemented me on the dial color.

Looks really good with gray suit, sport coat or sweater.

If you like it then I say go for it! When I was contemplating my first Rolex, I considered a DJ with rose/pink dial and romans but ended up going with white instead.

That is what i am looking for next!

funny this thread should start, i am not really that concerned, but had considered whether it was a little 'feminine' to be wearing around the office... whether i would look a bit like a pimp rapper wearing salmon and rose gold on my wrists!

I love it. Do it and post pics for us!

I have seen some Salmon dials for men, especially in the Air-King model.

Personally, I wouldn't opt for one, but below is an Oyster Perpetual which my sister bought when she was in Auckland in October 2005.

Around here many people like diamonds but there are 'other' places where diamonds are less popular.... I LOVE THEM TOO.....

Had one myself. I loved it. If I were to buy another DJ the salmon would be a contender!
