Just received the new Cigar Aficionado in the mail...

There was an article entitled "Classic Watches". I immediately turned to the page which had the article. To my surprise there was no mention of Rolex. In my opinion it doesn't get any more classic than a Daytona or Sub. There were some really nice watches featured but the list seemed incomplete without a Rolex. Oh well..IMO I think Rolex tops all of them. Is there another watch company besides Rolex that has the brand awareness, reputation, history, and loyal following? If you want proof just look at TRF. The knowledge and dedication displayed on this forum makes me proud to own a Rolex. You guys ROCK!

Maybe Patek or Breguet, but I think Rolex is definitely one of the top companies.

Don't know how they could have left out Rolex.....I guess that it is just a cigar magazine.

I'm guessing Rolex decided to allocate its advertising dollars elsewhere.

Maybe the editors were smoking "something else" while putting that piece together....

I used to buy this mag religiously when it first came out but over the years,it was less about cigars and more about celebrities etc. and I kinda lost interest in it.Have not picked one up in years and if they are now snubbing Rolex...well,guess I'm not missing much!
