The BEAST!

I've just taken delivery of my new "Ecozilla", also known as the Citizen Eco-Drive diver. I bought it online so hadn't seen one in person until received it.

I knew from seeing pics and reading reading reviews that it was big. But wow, nothing prepared me for HOW big. It's HUGE! I think it's mainly the height of the case rather than the width that gives this feeling. Definitely a purpose built diving watch.

I'm very impressed with the design and materials (titanium) but to be honest - the thing is so big, I'm now wondering if it may look out of place anywhere other than on a dive boat with full scuba gear! Anyway, we'll see...

ONLY 48mm?????.....try the Promaster at 55mm.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be serious, i agree the thickness is more of a deal breaker for me than the diameter with larger watches.

Your Beast is 19mm thick.I cannot imagine wearing it to the office....unless your name is Cousteau or Ferrigno!!

Looks like it would take a real beating though.

I see what you mean - the 48mm is "small" compared to the 55mm. That really is an instrument.

And yes, definately not for the office

That's right - it's 48mm and my wrist size is 6.5". Note sure if that's big, small or average...?

Very impressive. My latest "score" is also titanium, so I am now a total fan of titanium with large watches. It feels like you're not wearing anything. Enjoy that beautiful workhorse.

Congrats brother and welcome to the club. If you haven't already found out, the treated titanium is almost impossible to mark or scratch. Citizen did a great job on this one.

Email Walter Alfarano. walfa@sympatico.ca

He sells custom machined NATO loops and springbar lugs. I only have the NATO loops for mine.

I don't own the lugs, but these are some images from the Internet.

In both cases, you can use 24mm straps.

My wrists are that size too, and it's definitely on the small side for men. Nice watch, but it's waaay to big for me.

In titanium it's not heavy. The Stainless Steel version is a brick though.
