Lots of pictures (sorry) - New watch, new T-shirt, new box & some light home service

Well now I have access to a better camera and I have already been snapping away at my new (to me) Tudor.....I gave it the 'once over' this morning, minor brushing and polishing of the bracelet, bezel and case, then the full spa treatment....

When I got home last night a personalised TRF T-shirt was waiting for me, huge thanks to Mark and Leo, pictures of it to follow (it needs ironing!), I also arived home to a new watch box (first one I have ever owned) and decided to fill it with the collection so far....one watch is missing, my wife's SS black dial Date.....she's out so I could not complete the picture.....ever mind.....hope you don't mind the volume of photographs.....I couldn't help mysel!!!!

I'm glad your friend didn't run off with your watch, Bill.

Seriously, I really like your new Tudor. What's the referrence number? I think I like it more than the Daytona!

As for the last slot on your watch box, IMHO a GV would look great with the rest of your boys.

Ah-ha...trade secret....I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you....

Very simple, I use a product called Solvol Autosol....normally sold in car care/maintenance outlets....I use a tiny bit on a very soft cloth and my finger....the watch head is off the bracelet so as to avoid contact with the brushed surfaces on it.....just have to be careful around the lugs not to rub the brushed surfaces (not a problem if your watch has polished lugs).....one thing I would say (a tip you sould say) is do not buff off the remaining polish, because it still continues to polish as you rub it off....wash it off instead and only then buff up the shiny areas....the bracelet is more fidly, I normally mask off the brushed areas and then polish the shiny ones.....again, wash off the remaining polish....then buff up afrer drying

Bill,
I can never get enough shots of these great pieces and your pics really bring out the best. No matter the dial, bezel, and bracelet combo, Tudor chronos just plain rock!

Great collection!
by the way if the Tudor do not have date function that would be perfect

without date it would be a very easy life for adjusting the time!

Thanks a lot Bill for your suggestion !

Do you believe that Solvol Autosol is better than Cape cod cloth ?

Thanks again for your answer,

Engi

Great pics, and great looking Tudor .
I really really like your collection, cause except for a Submariner instead of a GMT,
mine is almost the same .
You Sir, have impeccable taste.

That's truly a white dial! But now you need to get a black dialled 79280 too, to match your wonderful 16030's!

Best,

A

Thank you, kind Sir.....yes I am accutely aware that for a collector of Rolex watches to not have a Sub is something unusual...I shall have to work on that one!!!!
