Big mistake today.

I went to Canterbury today and couldn't resist popping into Mappin & Webb.
I tried on the GMT Master IIc. Boy it looked good.
I've tried the bi-metal before and didn't care for it much but the SS was just perfect.
Oh dear.

Well Martin...any last words?? I guess you're going to have to face your fate...it is inevitable now...we are all with you..you are not alone. Now seek out the watch..and let it be on your wrist where it truly belongs!

Nope. Although i had my walllet with me, the though of not having a holiday this year was just too awful.
And i'd have to flip one of my watches to fund the purchase which i don't really want to do. Yet.

Well, you can take comfort in your Explorer II....It has the 2nd timezone function, so, your desire for the GMTII-c is purely cosmetic.

( Just trying to help ease the pain! )

It's ok for you, Dalip. You don't need a holiday living in Oz. Fond memories of Down Under.

Martin, always important to add the cost of a divorce into the over all price of the next purchase.
Always great to hear from you, mate.

Yes, very good point. My wife wonders why I need all these beautiful watches that are suppose to last a lifetime or 3 life times. All do respect, selling a watch to buy a watch isnt a bad thing. I would just think about it for a while before doing it.

I hope it works out for you...the wait can make the acquisition more satisfying and significant........but I know how you feel ...that is sometimes part of the journey
