If I were him and had that kind of money, I would do the exact thing.

I wish there was a close up.

8 pennies is light!!!!!!!!

WOW! Well I can't blame him, if I had his money I'd force my designs down those manufacturers throats!

I mean seriously, how awesome would it be to design your own watch?

I don't care for it either, but the mechanics aspect is pretty cool!

i thought it was a sponsorship deal. if that's the case, the watch is probably free.

It is a sponsorship and yes...he got it for free. He will not check the time ever during a match, but kudos to him.

it is great imo - it is a pretty cool design also (arent they all look similar!?)

it is a sponsorship watch, even uncle Toni wears one during Rafa's first round match at Roland Garros.

its pretty cool seeing Rafa going from timex to RM though good for me

im sure a big time RM fan would also say - i dont care for Rog wearing a Daytona during his practice sessions, trophy presentations and post match interviews.... or maybe not

anyone recall what watch when Massa (F1 Ferrari driver) was hit by a suspension component during poractice/qualify session last year? yep, a RM, a limited edition.

They don't 'make' them; manufacturing is outsourced.
