Is it me or is it you?
Hello I just went through 126 new topics here on TRF and can't find a single one that interested me.
I pop in to see if there has been any update on JJ and then look for something interesting to read and for the life of me I can't find anything! Has something happened over the past few weeks? Is it me? Is it the content? What the hell is it? There was a time when I could sit and read for hours at a time but now I find it a challenge if my interest can be held for more than 15 minutes kinda staring to sound like my sex life, I know. Please, no blasts, just making an observation. |

I only counted 125
Nicko I think it ebbs and flows, we all spend lots of time on the forum, then slack off, then (usually) come back again... Just the natural flow of psycadian rythems.... |

you have to find those topics that fly under the radar and talk about certain redheads and whatnot

A lot of threads are fluff and tend to be repeats of past threads and those can be a big bore or they can be fun to participate in.
It all depends on your mood and exposure to threads like, "Should I buy a Sub or a YMII?" or "Can I water the lawn in my DSSD?" I like the threads that increase my knowledge of one of my favorite subjects, Rolex watches. Discussion boards are a lot like spoken conversation. A lot of the discussions are just to fill a void. Some conversations are actually substantive and lend some insight into a particular matter. Of course, there are those who have a knack for creating an interesting thread about just about anything and those folks are not as common as we'd often like.

Agree with Steve and Marc on this one. IMO. Too many newbies not bother to search before creating new threads....

Yeah- and then there are those that think anything Rolex-related is new and wonderful. Sad, but true... How the heck are you, Eric?

so that’s instant memories of the stones’ thread. From my recollection of posted pix’s, your stone looks like a record….dam that’s painful looking at it.

I suggest someone start an interesting thread. I'm tired of this constant drivel about kidney stones and watches!

You don't complain all the time. Just most of the time.
