New vintage pieces!

Went a little overboard this week and picked up a few new pieces.

Here are 2 of the vintage watches of the bunch.

1963 1601 Datejust w/Underline.

1961 5512 4 Liner PCG I.61 Caseback (my grail)
Rare Tall Crown

Hope you enjoy!

They look very good

The 1601 usually has a fluted bezel with the 1603 an engine turned bezel. Did you check between the lugs for 1601?

If you wanted to put a fluted bezel on it that wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Personally I prefer the fluted bezel..

Anyway it is a gorgeous dial on that watch with the underline and a very juicy thick date wheel font

I'm not the biggest DJ fan either. But that silver dial, underline, and original dalphine hands , I couldn't resist.

Thanks Steve!

Yes it is a 1601 between the lugs. I switched out the bezels. I prefer the engine turned bezel, as the fluted is too flashy for me.

That datejust's dial is so crisp! Love it. And that 5512 is a hard to find piece in that beautiful condition. Nice pickups!
