I have two questions. Firstly, I am going to go to New York next week, and I have never been to the Rolex building there. Do they welcome their customers like some other Swiss manufactures do? Is there any neat stuff to look at? I am sure one of you have gone. I'll get every one a "I went to Rolex and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!" Is XL okay with everyone???
And secondly, I would love to hear from Uncle AJ, just what it is like to work/live in Saudi A. I know it is sort of off topic, but I/we hear so little as to what it is like there. Thanks!

Not sure about NY, but in toronto at Rolex Canada there really isnt much to see. There are a couple of display cases that show a few models and another that shows cut aways of movements and what not. Nothing really all that fascinating. But there are cute receptionists and free chocolates at Rolex Canada

First of all welcome to the forum. Secondly I'll do a little write-up of what it's like to live and work here but I'll send it in a PM.

A buddy of mine took his father-in-Law's Rolex Air-King to the Melbourne Rolex Headquarters and he said that he was treated very well indeed. They took the watch away for a quote on work and showed him displays of Rolex watches that had just arrived for ditribution to dealers, including gold Daytona's, and every conceivable model. They offered him coffee, tea or champagne. My friend wears a Seiko.

He told me that he was impressed with their customer service. He works for a large cusrtomer service company in Oz.

Roger is correct on all counts. Not much to see, but their receptionists are not just cute but gorgeous (at least when I was there three years ago). Padi would be salivating.

I know in the Dallas RSC you can get some of the booklets like "Every Rolex Tells a Story" and others on the making of the watches. Stop by and ask, they are usually super nice.
