Icon7 G-Shock -> Submariner = Surprise

My wife has just got back from LA, and handed me a surprise gift:

Now I was pretty pleased about receiving a new G-Shock as I like all sorts of watches and you can pick up some pretty cool G-Shock models. However I don't think Casio makes anything quite as cool as this:

I've just had it sized at Shreve and Company, and now wearing it. But I'm still totally blown away by the surprise gift, and the quality of the watch. It just feels way more substantial than any of my other watches, and the green face catches the light in very interesting ways.

Anyway I just thought I'd share on this board as you guys all seem to be Rolex enthusiasts, and would appreciate my shock. Also I can't exactly go around to all my friends, and show off my new watch as that would be kinda a dick move.

So my question to you guys what do I get my wife in return? Her birthday is in a few weeks and she has expressed interest in one of the older pink face Oysters, do you have any suggestions for what models to look at?

Dude - you can't get her what she asks for. You have to surprise her! "older pink face oyster" sounds like woman code for "latest rose gold..."
Anyway, congrats!

Box and papers/G-Shock in a Rolex box

Yes I have all of those items, and the reciept, that she had kept it in case I didn't want it ("no honey, just take it back, I really wanted a new G-Shock".

Otherwise a G-Shock in a Rolex case, that gives me an idea for her Birthday, unfortunately I think that might result in a divorce or at the very least a kick in the nuts.

Finally thanks for all the kind words, very much appreciated.

Finally finally, surprisingly you can get G-Shocks that are nearly as expensive as a Rolex:

Or custom G-Shocks that are more expensive:
