EXP II on a strap ?

I blatantly stole this photo from another forum:

However, I have one of these so feel somewhat justified. All anyone talks about is the Sub on a strap - so here's something different.

What do you think ??

I think it looks better on the strap than on the bracelet. Also, I think it looks better than the sub-on-a-strap.

Your watch is awesome with the Nato. I have the same one on my DJ whenever I want the Nato. I switch between 3 different bands on the fly

I guess this is an opinion that we won't have in common... nothing beats a diver on a nato or zulu band.

I think any of the black face sport watches look great on a black strap.

Now the white face is a different proposition. I use a steel grey for my White Explorer II. However, to my eye it's pretty on the bracelet as well.

Kinda looks a little green under floursecent lighting... (insert pic)

Don't get me wrong -- the Sub looks great on a strap, but for some reason, I really like the Exp on a strap.

FWIW, I have my Seiko divers on a Zulu. Thought about strapping my new GMT II; gotta wait for my bracelet removal tool to arrive.

When I owned an Explorere II it never saw its bracelet - I always wore it on a Zulu, 2 piece Maratac or Hirsch Carbon Fiber. I think lots of watches look better on straps and i prefer straps to braclelets about 9 out of 10 times. I am a big fan of your choice of a strap

The steel bezel and the black face look REALLY cool on that strap
Not sure if it's better than a diver, which I think looks better because of the larger case, IMO.

My Explorer II on Bond Nato

I much prefer the comfort of the Nato to the Bracelet.

Of course, the stock Oyster bracelet is Rolex's signature, but this strap gives the watch a whole new look. The contrast of black and SS makes this a very nice combo.

I have a 4 rings black Zulu nylon strap on the way which I would like to try out on several watches including the 14060M.
