Hey guys, this is my first post. I've owned several. At present, I have a pristine "Y" serial 16613 (Bluesy). Just swapped my 16610 and a vintage gold 1503 for my "new" watch. I love Subs!

And yes the blue is something else and extremely versatile in terms of wearability although tango probably gets the most 3rd party attention

I can understand why Tango gets so much attention - a real beauty!

The WG Sub is a class act, though, isn't it? To the uninitiated, it could be a SS Sub, but to those in the know, the subtlety of the hefty WG is a masterpiece in understatement and a very nice one, too ;-)

I had this collection....well.....kind of a few Rolex and Tudor watches thrown together......not really a collection, just a slack handful of watches....all lovely but just not "right".....a DateJust (my first) a DayDate.....a GMT Master IIc.....an Explorer II....and two Tudor Chronographs, a 79280 and a 79260....I realised that having two Chronographs was nice but just did not "round it out"....so I flipped my 79280 and bought a 79190....best move I ever made......loved the79280 but the 79190....well, what can I say....it is LNIB.....all papers, boxes and everything, only thing missing was the anchor, but TRF came to the rescue and now I have a complete set.......perfect!!!...so as long as Tudor Sub's are accepted I guess I am in!!!

Yes the Blue Angel is a fantastic watch and a real pleasure to wear. The weight is quite something and a real stealth piece..... but occasionally you will get a nod from someone in the know

I can only imagine the weight of your Sub! It must be a great feeling, when you get an acknowledgement from someone who appreciates the true status of such a fine Rolex!

Yes it's pretty hefty and when I first got it, it took some time adjusting the bracelet since the weight causes it to drop a little on your wrist when your arm is down by your side. But I solved the issue by just wearing it a fraction tighter than my other bracelet watches. Now it's perfect. And yes always nice to get some acknowledgement from time to time

Albeit pretty rare anyone notices.......
