GMT IIC Would you like it better if it wasn't so shiney...PCL et al?

I love my GMT. Its the best watch I have ever owned. I agree at 1st the PCL are a bit much but after wearing it for a couple of days they make the watch a stunning piece. If you have the means I would highly reccommend the GMTIIc...

I like it just the way it is. As said you can always get them brushed if you wish.

Just say no to PCLs on all "sport" watches.

No, I do not wish the braceelt on GMT2C was all satin. All satin, for me,
is an era of the past. THe next revolution in Rolex is ceramics and PCLs.

I like its bling and mirror like finish and the PCLs. I resisted these quite a bit
but then finally caved in. The satin finish on the SD and the DSSD is beginning to feel old school to me.

I think any watch thatwas not tuched on by Basel 2011, will be getting PCls in 2012. That's how I thik Rolex is upgrading their watches: Ceramics and PCLs to give them a newer modern look and based on GMT2C's success, looks like it has taken off!!

So I can't wait till I get my 2C.

I think the PCLs match the shine of he ceramic and the dial very well and I prefer it 80% of the time. However 20% of the time fully brushed would be useful. Not enough that I would brush them.

I love it. But have thought many times about brushing the center.

I love the look of the PCLs. But I'm somewhat OCD (seriously) and had to get them brushed.

Didn't know being a pilot is considered as an athlete....

IMO the PCL should stay with the GMTIIC. It makes it looking "sporty, yet elegant..."

I take it for what it is, scratches and all. I don't buy anything I own to baby it. YMMV, but that's just me.

I don't mean to start a mini-war, because I love most Rolex makes, but for me it's the best the best can get.

And that's after falling with this watch on and having the bracelet scar me for life -- my wrist will never be the same, lol. But the bracelet is strong as shit.

I'm ok with either. But I'll pick the PCL over the BCL on the IIc.

Oh, and get it brushed if you want it brushed. Any watchmaker can do it, though I do take mine who's Rolex certified. You can find several pics of folks who've had it brushed on this website, should you want to see what it looks like.
