The GMTIIC as it has probably greatest wrist presence of any watch I have owned so far.

It just looks and feels so much better than anything else out there.

Imagining the scenario, I could lose all my Rolex if I really had to....apart from the 116509. So not based on any level of practicality but simply emotional connection....that'd be my only one.

And it's taken quite a beating with major trips this year and plenty of beach time at home.... Contrary to much opinion the white gold does not mark that easily and is pretty robust in comparison to my SS models.

The watch will grow old gracefully and I know with all going well in my life I expect to look down at my 80 year old wrist and see it sitting there.

A timeless design. Beautifully crafted dial (especially on this reference) and inside beats an awesome movement.
