My 16753 Rootbeer on Oyster Bracelet For a Change!!!

As I have mentioned on previous threads here on TRF for some strange reason I got tired of wearing my 16753 on a Jubilee bracelet. I started feeling like the watch looked 'vintage' but outdated and cheap. Please know that I am not trying to attack or criticize any of the jubilee lovers or any other 16753 owners wearing it on a jubilee.

This weekend while visiting some of my friends in Dallas, I got myself a 78363 SS/18K in mint condition that IMHO makes this watch look just fantastic and very classy!!!

Let's see what you guys/gals think.

Here are some pics.

Looks real good, I think I still like the jubilee better however.

Well, it would look better if the bracelet were in a bit better shape.

It's hard to see it detail but it looks like a very very tidy case with a slightly tired (scratched) jubilee. With the 78363 the whole look is crisp and tidy.

I can see why you like it.

But, I personally like the jubilee, and have them on both my '63 Pepsi and '74 gold.

If that jubilee was cleaned up, that would be a cracker jack GMT.

But, because I'm very contrary, I would do and do the same and mix things up .

It's nice to know you care enough about the watch to bring it back to a balance, that being the case is tidy so give it a tidy bracelet.
If the case was tired, then obviously the jubilee would suit.

All that said....... I like it. :-)

It's actually in pretty good shape. The iPhone pic didn't help at all.

I have solved the TT jubilee vs. TT oyster dilemma for my TT GMT's; my 1675/3 wears the classic 14k/SS jubilee bracelet while my 16753 wears a brand new 18k/SS oyster bracelet. It's the best of both worlds offering the timeless jubilee look or the more sporty oyster on TT GMT's with nipple dials.

Thanks everyone! I am loving it. I haven't taken the watch off since Friday last week. Although I am missing wearing my 1675.
