My 116610LV Submariner
Hello everyone!
I have got some very sad news!!! I unfortunately had to sell my Sub-LVc today.. I have absolutely loved owning and wearing it, it has been my favourite watch I've owned so far! The no.1 reason why I sold it is because I need the money to fund my next purchase. I hope to be buying my golden surprise in the next few upcoming months.. Hopefully in time for the London GTG 2012 I'm in no rush to pull the trigger because I need to make sure it's going to be the "right one" as I will be spending a considerable amount of £££££ on it!!! The watches on the list are either.. - Rolex DDII in RG with Chocolate Dial - Rolex YG Submariner 116618LB - Rolex WG Submariner 116619 I have a few more on the maybe list also such as the WG or YG Daytona.. And DDI in YG or WG.. The watch has been sold for the best.. She will be sadly missed, but hey!!? Just a watch Thanks for reading.. -Dino Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I have a feeling that you will buy another LVC in the future. It is just too unique a watch and you are kind of the Official Hulk ambassador on the forum. In addition, your pictures and LVC-focused threads have led many, including myself, to buy one.
Good luck in your quest for the gold!

Good luck man! I bet you go back to the LVc ... I did after getting what I thought might have been my grail - not!
Anyway, the good news is that they are sold every day, so going back if need be is pretty easy. Best to you! |

Dino this is a sad day for me. Since I have been on here I have marveled at all your pics of the green sub. In my mind you are the hulk. The watch is destined to be on your wrist and in time it will return. Im sure atleast 300-500k worth of green subs have been purchased from your pics alone.Good luck with your next endeavor.

Oh well Dino.... Such is life ..... Needs must......Onwards and upwards.....Etc etc
At least you're selling with the intention of taking a solid step up the ladder in the glamour stakes In the end, financial constraints always come into play and you've done well at your age to have acquired what you have. I take it the Breitling is going too? So you'll be G-Shocking for a while...... Hope it comes together soon....... And having seen your responses to your YG Sub thread, my advice would be to go for the YG Blue Sub.... The WG Sub is an absolute stunner but I just dont think its going to satisfy your lust for a full on glamour puss watch. For some, like me, it's stealth is one of it's attractions. But I get the feeling you want the attention and wow factor and the YG Sub in blue has definitely got it in spades The RG DDII for me is just a bit too understated...... And possibly too "serious" for you. RG was also invented for people that didn't want the full on ostentatiousness of YG......which appears to be a major attraction for you. Just a few thoughts .......and best of luck gathering those pennies |

Thank you for your kind words Steve mate I will be keeping my Breitling Evolution which I showed you at the GTG. I can't live on a G-Shock I remember us talking on the tube, you saying.. You have a few great watches now, just keep them and add to them instead of flipping them. I did at the time think I was going to keep those watches and not let them go, especially the green sub.. However, I guess times and financies change.. I will have to save hard to achieve my golden beauty whatever she may be! I find the saving process just as exiting as buying.. Thanks for all of your help and enabling... You did this to me at the last GTG!! Your bloody fault!!! -

Good luck nephew but let me be the first to tell you there is no such thing as a Grail timepiece, just ones we want more than others! I thought I would stop at a Platinum Rolex piece but then Patek, Audemars, and Jaeger happened... It's enjoyable watching your journey to obtain your ultimate piece but remember once you taste filet mignon it's hard to go back to hamburger helper! When you get your 18k beast that's when the real fun starts! Good luck!
